HomeConnection began in 1997, in a portable at Oak Harbor Middle School. Shortly there after, we moved to the Christian Reformed Church and operated there for 3 years. In 2001 the district welcomed HomeConnection into the first floor of the Administrative Services Center (ASC). Outgrowing the ASC building, we moved to our current location in the Spring of 2009.
The Oak Harbor Public Schools recently applied and were approved to receive two grants through the Washington State Department of Defense Community Compatibility Grant and the Department of Defense to rebuild Crescent Harbor Elementary and HomeConnection/Hand-in-Hand Early Learning Center.
