Diojo, a Pomeranian, and Falkor, a white retriever mix, loved all the cuddles and attention from students at Olympic View Elementary. Thank you to the dogs and their handlers from Dogs on Call for your visit!

The Night to Remember Prom is for students with disabilities, ages 14 and up. This year's theme is a Masquerade Ball.  Masks will be provided. Join in on a magical time of music and dancing on Nov. 14, Noon to 2:30pm at the Oak Harbor Elks Lodge.

When you RSVP, please list the "dancer's name" as the primary person. Add tickets for any additional support/caregivers that may attend so there is enough food for all. Families participated in Oak Harbor Elementary's STEAM Night last week. It was a great night of building projects, learning, and having fun together!

From OHHS Student Levi Evans: The Varsity Girls Soccer team faced off against the Stanwood Spartans on October 30 for their first home playoff game of the season. The team played a great game with an iron wall defense, shutting out the opponent and scoring 5 points to have a dominant 5-0 win. Overall the Wildcats played amazingly, two players really standing out during the game: Malia Delano '29 with 3 goals and 1 assist, and Maddie Mays '26 with 2 goals and 2 assists.

After the win, Maddie Mays '26 said, “The whole team played with so much heart tonight. Every pass, every run, every tackle mattered. I’m just glad I could contribute and help us keep moving forward. This one meant a lot for districts and team morale. We’ve worked so hard all season, and to see it pay off in front of our home crowd is unreal. I couldn’t ask for a better group to end my final season with.”

Head Coach Mike Lonborg said, “The effort was solid. The team played hard the entire time, did what they're supposed to. One of our mottos is: Take the stairs instead of taking the elevator for success."
