The results for the 2026 Regional Scholastic Art Competition are officially in!
Congratulations to Miyabi Leelaphisut earned a prestigious GOLD KEY for her Digital Painting, Drawing & Collage piece, "Golden Cage" and will progress to the National Scholastics competition. Christian Fortune, Gwen Miller, Nohea Kelley and Kaitlin Cellona earned Silver Keys. Sarah Pearson, Nohea Kelley, Kaitlin Cellona, Reese Wasinger, Peyton Bodenhaffer, Memphis Jones and Sage Stravos earned honorable mention.
According to the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the Scholastic Awards are the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens, and a large source of scholarships for young artists and writers in the United States and Canada. Teens in grades 7-12, 13 years or older, are eligible to enter their original art and writing work for a chance at recognition, publication, exhibition and more.
